Certainly looking good on my cell phone!

They always look good on cell phones, wish I could get the actual image to look as good as they do on mine

Artifact or not, that is a really nice stack.
You really have to dig to see the flaws.
Nicely done.

Thank you.

I'm not too sure what you use for alignment/stacking. If you're using ImagesPlus, you can use the Min/Max Exclusion Combine to eliminate/reduce hot pixels. PixInsight also has similar parameters for stacking in its ImageIntegration. Since I never shoot/use bias, dark and flat subs I have to use pre/postprocessing software in this capacity; it (normally) works very well but I still haven't found a way to eliminate thick cloud .

I use Nebulosity, I think I'll take Jim's advice and reach out to Craig Stark.

Well, it's beautiful!

I did manage to find one stringy thingy over around 3-4 oclock. But couldn't manage to grab it.
I did find what looked like a doubled star.
But unless you are looking at maximum zoom-in, those things are invisible.
Over all, Beautiful, Brian.

This is a stack of 75, 180 Second exposures with flats and bias. I gave up on the clouds going away, so I went ahead and processed what I had.

Beautiful work Brian. I like the stars as is.

I haven't seen a blue sky or a cloudless night in a month. But I have been busy with the Holidays, basketball, and I shot the Clemson vs Ala game.....returned yesterday. I look at our forecast this morning and for the next 10 days.....clouds in the 60 to 90 percent range are expected. We have some snow on the ground....and together with the moon, even clear skies would prevent me from shooting. It is like daytime at night with the moonlight bouncing off the snow.

Ha...that's great you got to go to the Clemson game. Happy to see Bama go down.

Clemson is about an hour from my home. I image two or three college games a year - only did two Clemson games this year - and glad I got the call to do the National Championship game. I have played golf with Dabo a couple times in the past several years. One of his best friends is my former partner. Glad they won too - all of this from a Florida State Grad too.

They embarrassed my Buckeyes! There's always next year.

I don't know if you are permitted, but if you have any cool pix, please share.
