If the discussion was a subject of astrophysics, realities are not absolute and you may have had a grain of credibility.
However in this realm (choosing between different cameras for example) reality is an absolute. Alternate reality

Your first post in this thread had no relationship with the OPs question; it was disputing what OddJobber posted.

Your second post in this thread had no relationship with the OPs question; it was disputing what Gene51 wrote.

Unlike all of your posts, my first post in the thread was addressing the OPs question by supporting MT Shooters suggestion of a used or refurbished D810; which is a better camera than a D500 or D750, and can be had for similar cost. Especialy if the OP wants to shoot anything and everything.

Also, unlike all of your posts, my second post was an expression of agreement... with Jim Davidson.

Your third post was a grossly sarcastic dispute of my agreement with Jim Davidson. (and until that point I did not even know of your existence in the thread.)

My response to your sarcasm was; "Ridiculing someone for asking a question (as Jim Bob did) is hardly an opinion". And your response to that, was to insult me by telling me I was whining.

Your 4th 5th and 6th posts had nothing to do with the subject of the thread either, being off topic and insulting.

Every single last one of your posts in this thread have been a dispute with me and others and bear no relationship with the OPs question.

Yet, evidently you support Jim Bob whos response to the OPs question was:

Jeff, Thank you for commenting to "Jim Bob's" sick and disgusting response to yet another valid question. I have been rather vocal on this nuts "post" - not that it has done any good, some time ago after I said something about one of his attempts to dismiss and belittle the person that was asking a question, I wrote a rather long response to him and the UHH group. I got some very nice responses telling me that I just have to ignore him, I really appreciate the advice I got and know that it was sent with the best of intentions, but I guess my question is why ignore a guy like this. I am new to UHH, have been on other forums like this in the past and seems like guys like this eventually get booted. Years ago on Nikonians there was a guy like this (maybe the same guy) and he was booted off. I guess what I don't understand (which I have said before) is why someone feels that they have to say the type of things that are said, it is almost like he is trying to make someone feel bad for posting a question. He has responded to a couple of my post, he is proud of himself for the things he says ---????

He is still here because this site has only one ADMIN, and he survives off the advertising this site generates. Those ads pay based on

MT - I know, I know -- have had numerous people tell me just to ignore the *&^$%^*, I am not a good ignorer. (sorry don't think that is a word) What really bugs me is he posted one of his "f - you that is a dumb question" response to a guy that said "I am brand new to UHH". What is a new member to think when he gets one of Jim Bobs "your a dumb shit for asking that question" post? You say admin won't boot him because of the $, I wonder how many people have left because of him?, maybe none - maybe several??? As I just explained to a guy that sent me a private message, I have many rules that I try to live by in life and one is "treat people like you want to be treated", just goes against everything I am made of to see what this guy post. I am sure I will takes everyone's advice and just start ignoring the "guy", orrrrr - may have a standard message that I send to whoever he is pissing at the moment ---

Yep, I feel that he has some serious self esteem issues - would love it if your idea of everyone sending him a private message would work, but a guy like that does not have the capacity to feel epiphany, he is a very young sole.

You are probably correct, but I did put him on my Ignore list and sent him a congratulatory note on being the first one to make that list. The cool thing is he can't even respond to that private message!

The trolls can "SEE" any postings, even when ignored. But if the OP has "ignored" that troll, then they can no longer post to that thread. Old Jim Bob is the most ignored poster on this forum, a fact he is proud to admit.
