Great detail; better with a smaller aperture probably. In a high wind try hanging something heavy below the tripod head.

It was blowing/gustung so hard that it was pushing me over...and I'm 220.

Can't really tell the image quality from a downloaded JPEG on a computer screen. Large print would be the way to tell.

That said, knowing what I know from printing large files from my old em1...this will easily double my print sizes.

Hi Clint,
I always appreciate your postings re. mirrorless equipment. I was a confirmed Canon (5d11)user with a bundle of quality lenses shooting a lot of landscapes and some portraits. Umpteen years ago in the film and slide era I used Olympus cameras mainly because of their compact design and lots of features-- a real pleasure to use. So, I sort of had an emotional attachment to the brand. I now own a stable of Olympus cameras (E-M11,E-M10,Oly Pen 5, Oly Pen F) along with a clutch of their professional lenses although the OLY 300mm is on my wish list hoping someone will sell it cheap. Am not sure I will spring for the new EM1 just yet because of the price and the habit of Olympus to drop the price significantly after several months. I really like the Pen F with its larger sensor and other features so I tend to use that more than the other cameras. I print my own on an Epson P800 (mostly 22 by17inches) and am pleased with the quality of same . I would be interested to know what you think is the largest size you would print.

Re. my previous note I should have said I do not use the tripod necessary Hi Res mode so when I asked about maximum useable print size I was not referring to the Hi Res mode but rather the normal shooting mode.

At 16mp you can easily print 45" wide
At 20 mp even larger - and then you have 80mp files can you imagine how big you can print?

I have a 30 x 60 on my wall at work thay consists of two 20 x 30's flanking one 40 x 30. It was a composite of 3 or 4 images shot in portrait mode. I feel confident that I could have shot this with one high Rez shot and gotten the same results. All my large printing is done on canvases through cgproprints.com. As to a regular shot, I wouldn't have any issues going with a 30x40 on the same media. YMMV.
