O I find out the way to get your site to come up like mine dose is the www. in front of your domain name. Don't think this works over night it takes months.

Unless it's an FTP or USENET server, there will be www (world wide web) prefixing your domain name. As I recall, you want to have your key words (for Google and other engine's crawlers to find) in the "title" line of the HTML code on the first (index) page of the site.

Consider Network Solutions, now also known as web.com. Their templates are easy to use, or you can hire them to do it for you. They will also help you problem solve issues for free. The hosting fee is reasonable. I pay by the year, up front. https://www.networksolutions.com/

I used WordPress to design mine but I've heard Wix.com is also pretty good, easy to use and perhaps most important, free.

Take a look at Zenfolio @ www.zenfolio.com, it is well suited for selling your photography work. You can elect to use several levels of service depending on what you feel you needs might use best. You can also start you own blog on the website, without having to learn codes. You can customize you website to reflect the name you choose to use for the site. It also provides for off site storage of your images. You are able to choose several printing companies to fulfill orders placed by your customers. Once an order is placed the customer pays for the their order it is printed and shipped to them. One printing option available is MPIX, or Millers, and they provide excellent printing services. Zenfolio also makes it possible to provide sell other items, and and almost endless printing options. If Zenfolio becomes you choice please use my referral code, 6PR-UT2-Q8Z, it will allow you to receive a discount on your membership fee

WIX.com is really good. If you are trying to attract local business it is hard to beat Facebook. You can boost you page to your selected market reasonably.

UPDATE - I know there were a few people on this forum that were interested in the outcome of my "project" and wanted to provide those of you with an update.

I ended up signing up for the 14-day free trail with SmugMug and was sold almost immediately. I watched a couple webinars on the program and was able to get through the process, frustration-free. I had some additional questions along the way and their support team was amazing. I signed up for the Portfolio Plan at $150/year. This plan is equipped with SmugMug's marketplace, which is also user-friendly. I launched my site last week and my first customers were very pleased with the products they received (2 metal prints, 1 paper print) I selected Bay Photo as my printer of choice, and the color is outstanding. Check it out, www.winograsky.com and that you all for your suggestions!

For a web site, I would suggest WIX. If you are wanting to display I suggest Instagram – you'll get more hits and all you have to do is post your images. I use UploaderHD for Instagram so I don't have to load from my phone.
