Old shots I thought I'd convert to B&W...
Do they work?
Done on my tablet with just a simple editing program.
Love the foot prints in the sand Angela. Love the perspective and that it's B&W.

Hi John and thanks for visiting and your thumbs up... I'm glad you liked that shot, it was a cell shot that was taken last year while in Hawaii and I never did anything with it!
Thought I'd give B&W a try!!
You must have clicked the shutter button with your big toe on that second one! The second shot responded well to the conversion.

Donna, is there a trick or something that I don't know... I just converted them, what's so hard??!! and the beach shot is from my cell from when we went to Hawaii last year and no, I wasn't sprawled!! LOL!!! But I'm glad you like them!!
Knowing what's going to work in B/W is what I'm not good at, Angela. It's not the converting itself that's really hard.

Hhahaaaa... Bob, I don't think my big toe could click the buttom on my phone... I was just bending down!! Thank you for your visit and glad you liked that one!!

My logic is... if I like it, that's all that matters!!
It's different, especially for me and I love trying new things!!

nice shots Angela
Thanks for your visit, Pablo..... much appreciated and glad you enjoyed!!
I think they work just fine, Angela. I love the composition and details of the flowers, and the bit of fog along the beach in the second one. A great experiment.

Beautiful in B&W...esp. #2....excellent work!
The footprints in the sand works perfectly in B/W, and makes an excellent image. The flowers, at least for me, are less successful. Not a bad shot, but wants color.

Wow, is all I need to say. Angela you choose your subjects well. You also always keep me asking myself why I bought that Canon B&W camera. Thank you for reminding me. You also deserve a curtain call.

Thank you Jane for your very kind critique and I'm glad you liked these... if you know me by now, I need to keep trying something new and I don't know if there are rules to follow in B&W, but I never follow rules anyway!! lol..
