Earlier this year there was a screech owl visible at Green Cay near Delray Beach, Florida. There were long lines waiting for a photo op, and two volunteers trying to keep order and making sure people had their flash turned off. I got some great photos, only the second one I have been able to photograph in a lifetime of birding.
