Two from Crystal Mill. I like each for different reasons. Which does the public like best?
Thanks for your opinion!

I like the second one better , it has a little more space to it for more perspective, also in the first photo ,at least to me the building seems to be falling out of the photo to the right side

My preference is No. 2. The first one seems cramped. The subject of the cabin is competing with the subject of the waterfall. It's difficult to decide which is the predominant subject. The second photo relies on better composition to place each subject in a manner that they work together rather than competing for the spotlight.

No. 2. I like the composition much better. No. 1 is to much of a close up, and perspective is lost.

Thanks for the input. I straightened a little and upped the shadows some. Better?

Yes, but I prefer 1 to see the stream.

I like the second photo since it has better focus and displays the snow crested mountain better than the first photo.

I like them both. Top photo shows more of the creek. Bottom one shows more of the snow-capped mountain
in the background. Great photos, Beth.

I like #2. The colors are more natural, the building is not tilted as much, I like seeing more of the environment.

I like the second one as well, but you need to crop it so that the verticals are straight. Everything is tilted to the right and you could open up the shadows a tad.

I agree.
Beautiful shots

1 was blurred.
2 was better.
2 straight and lightened was even better.
Wide shot just seemed too busy.

This might be what you want with all in one shot. I have a bunch to work on yet, there will be a post with several different views! Thanks for looking!

This one I really like, with the fall colors and mountains in the background.

Where is this and how do I get there????? Thanks!!

Hi Pat, this is near Marble Colorado. Take a 4WD vehicle from Marble which will be about an hour or so drive depending on how many times you stop for photos!

I prefer no. 3! That would be no.2 cropped to near the bottom of the main structure, leaving out the waterfall below. I just don't think it adds that much to the scene. But I would look for another perspective to include the falls - maybe a bit lower.

For you, cropped out the waterfall. Thanks for your input!

I had trouble with the straightening. In real life it looks like it is falling off the rock to the right.... but after some straightening I agree they look better. Thanks for the input!
