Two from Crystal Mill. I like each for different reasons. Which does the public like best?
Thanks for your opinion!
I prefer #2. It gives me a little better perspective as to size and distance. Better focus as well.
I like the detail of #1, but the grandeur of the surrounding landscape in #2.
I also prefer #2, it is a much better composed picture, plus sharper details and better color.

These are so beautiful, wish I was there...and you're going to make me pick a favorite and tell you why....well #1....no #2....no#1....definitely #2...I guess #2 because the surrounding is so beautiful and we see more of it in #2
I like the second one as well, but you need to crop it so that the verticals are straight. Everything is tilted to the right and you could open up the shadows a tad.
My personal preference is the second shot. I like the composition a little better and the processing gives number two a more realistic, natural look! Very nice shot.
I, too, prefer Nr 2.
You can still see the water flowing by and adding to the concept of the picture.
In Nr 1, I feel that the flowing water and the structure are competing for attention.
Just my opinion, but you know what they say about opinions . . .

Thanks for the input. I straightened a little and upped the shadows some. Better?
#2,but both are really nice.
Since I just learned how to do it, I prefer #1 for the enhanced water movement.
My preference would be the second image. The first image just seems too intense to me.
I like the mountain background in the second, and the creek and falls visible in the first.
I suppose #2 if I could only pick one.

I like both photos, for different reasons as you stated in your original post. However, the tweaks you made in the last photo really make it great. I like the mountain in the background. I thing the composition of the last photo makes a beautiful scenic. Have a GREAT DAY!
