Note that the bailout for the auto industry dollars were all repaid as the auto industry recovered. The amount loaned was in the range of $50 billion. This was an Obama administration action that was highly successful. Note also that the Bush administration gave $800 billion to the financial industry - not a penny of which has been paid back. A little difference in power and influence.

Not quite. The working tax payer lost 9.3 bil because of imam obamas stupidity. Here is a headline from the Detroit Free Press:

Final tally: Taxpayers auto bailout loss $9.3B Headline from the Detroit Free Press by Brent Snavely.

A great deal of it came from foreigners wanting to buy influence in the state department and the presidency should the low information voter select her.

The people who run the planet want a world govt. because it makes it so
much easier to do business with different countries. They are all amoral and truly will do whatever is necessary to advance their agenda of controlling all elected leaders. If you think either of our candidates are not joining these people in their endeavors, you are naive. The time of tribalism has passed, despite what ISIS and all the other groups warring against the Powers That Be think. The only thing that will save us is to all join together to defeat those who would enslave all of us. The love of money and the power it buys has taken us down a road that is leading to no good destination.

Not aware of the exact amount but numerous banks paid back in full plus the premium otherwise they would have to stay under an additional level of scrutiny they did not want, there were some banks that wanted to pay back early but we're not allowed to do that by the federal government. So they suffered the extra rules for the two years.

Am still getting a recall notice for the ignition thing, they wanted to plug the hole in the key to fix a bad switch detent. Had to have it towed a year before the ignition recall and switch was replaced but the housing with detent wasn't and that was the problem. no more gm here. I drive a nissan now.

I seem to recall that the preferred stockholders got the shaft during the bailout of the auto makers.

Big time. The only winners was the union. And they screwed that up.

While I agree with your second paragraph, I also worry about 'The Donald'. I also wonder if he knows what the truth is or if he as any plan. He is too glib. I'm just sitting this Presidential election out. I will vote for every other position and will hope to make sure that either the House or the Senate are firmly in Republican hands to counter balance the Clinton Greed Machine.

No matter how you slice it, a non-vote in the Presidential election is a vote for Monica Lewinsky's ex-boyfriend's lying, scheming old witch of a wife.
