New and interested in feedback

Only been doing nudes for about a year. Have done several shoots, but not really much opportunity for feedback as I wouldn't share them much except with a couple of photographer colleagues and the models. Was happy to see this section since I haven't been here for a while. Any feedback?

It is an interesting photo. Makes you wonder - are they listening to music? Are they tired after a romp? They almost look a little uncomfortable, though - the model no the right is in a slightly unnatural position it seems to me - like she is lying on the other one's leg. I will be interested in hearing what the professionals say about the pose, the lighting, etc. Thanks for sharing!

Love the idea hate the folds in the background cloth and the color. Also not liking the crop through the gals hair

I have never touched store boughts before. Have you? It's not natural to see them poised in that fashion whilst laying on her back. I believe the model that is pointing is making fun of the store boughts.

I like the concept in the first one. The backdrop is a little messy, they are way to far down in the picture, actually they are being cropped almost out of the picture. This shot with the right placement on the backdrop could be a 9x16. I do agree on the leg placement. Seems just a tad unnatural and uncomfortable. Maybe across the other girls stomach and the other girls arm on top of the leg. If you got them more into the picture you could then straighten it. Normally this does not bother me, Here it is upsetting my eye. I know people don't like skin editing but I would have, as an example. cleaned up the lad's thigh a little. Almost looks like she was raked by a wild field tit mouse. Nice job.

I will probably get shot down for this but why oh why do young females think that tattoo's adds to their beauty. For me it detracts from it.

122, I feel you did a pretty good job. Shooting one model lengthwise is hard enough, but shooting two, end to end, that's one heck of a lot of space!! And to get that shot with any prime you'd have to be shooting from across the street!! LoL
Yes, the background is too close and the light is a bit harsh, almost like golden hour, but I don't find the poses out of whack. Not so unnatural. Maybe a bit clumsy, but if it was forced, the models themselves would have gotten to where it felt fine. Better vision and direction would go a long way here. Maybe make a mirrored matching geometric pattern with the arms and legs for that unique look.
It would not be very hard to create a little extra canvas with that type of background and give it a bit more room in front. The hair may be a problem, but there is so much going on there that the hair is not a big part of this image. You could even creat hair pretty easily.
The second pic actually has more organization.
WHERE in the heck does anybody find four nude models all at the same time?!?! Maybe a group workshop?
By the way guys, for those of you that can't tell the difference between a real boob and a bolt-on......., some of you need to go back to high school and repeat a class or two!! The only possibility of a bolt-on is the one doing the pointing!!! DON'T make me explain it guys!!!

I like your idea but you need to change the way there set up. Also do something about the tattoo's as it takes away from the natural beauty of the girls.

This really is an interesting photo that you have posted, and I agree with several hogs that have pointed out the drape line that is distracting and should have been 'posted' out, but it's an interesting backdrop and I would appreciate knowing where you got it. It might not have been the best choice for this particular photo though. I also agree with the cropping comments, as the way it's cropped, to my eye, is too horizontal. If both models had their legs bent so that their buns were almost touching, you would have been able to make the overall composition less horizontal and more pleasing, at least to my eyes. Just a couple comments about the model on the right, to me she looks like she is raising her hips like a lot of women do to facilitate physical intimacy, so here it is either not appropriate or extremely suggestive. Finally, I have seen that when models with ample breasts like the model on the right lie on their backs, the breasts usually fall to the sides and the torso is much more flattened than it looks like here where her breasts are much more erect than it seems natural, but you could have made them less 'obvious' if you had softened the shadow that has formed under them. This is a valiant effort with a difficult pose, that I personally would probably not had the guts to try.

The photo with the four women leaves me speechless, for lots of reasons. However, the several comments about 'bolt on's or store boughts' either are inappropriate, or they show a lack of experience with the differences in the female anatomy as it's totally possible that that is the way that nature made them, and those comments are either very prejudiced and derogatory, or to me at least have no place in this part of the forum, and should have been left in the high school locker room as they "cheapen" this part of the forum and makes us look like a bunch of pre-teens sneaking looks at an old Playboy centerfold. So, let's be more mature and remember that this is a section of the forum that isn't here to speculate on whether a woman has had implants or not, on whether someone thinks a woman is too young, too old, too ugly, too skinny or to fat, or too something else, as there's not a single one of us that got to pick the perfect body to spend our mortal time in, we got what we got, it's the luck of the draw and that's it. Before criticizing some one else's body, I suggest that you post an undrapped photo of yourself and ask for comments about your bird legs, man boobs, beer bellies, bald heads, droopy rumps, and lack of muscle tone.

Just one man's opinion. Feel free to disagree.

The first photo, I think the background pulls my eye away from the models. Light on them and no light on the back would do it for me, still great shot.

T Ive said the same thing a few times, comment on the photo, not the models, my model thats been posing for me is in her 60's
nothing is firm, or in its correct place , things droop and sag as gravity wins, but someone will make comments and that is why I wont ever put up a photo of her.
which is a shame because I'm missing out on a lot of CONSTRUCTIVE advice.
