One eaglet is flying, so this will be the final chapter for 2016

In the final image below Mom is showing remaining twin how it's done. See youngster in the nest screaming, "No, no I don't wanna go!"

The flying eaglet was already in tree adjacent to nest tree when I arrived. There was about an hour's worth of false starts before it took off again, and as you'll see I missed the take-off by a half second! (My in-flight shots are blurry)

Thank you all so very much for following this year's family with me!

How much fun has it been to watch them grow and now fledge! Thanks as ever for sharing the adventure (and not the aches and pains from standing there, lol!)

You are doing a great job bringing us images of something most of us would never see first hand. I always look forward to the next set.

Linda, a great series on you following these eagles. Very enjoyable to see. We have eagles on our lake property but we cannot get as close as you have been able to. Hopefully, they will return next year so you can follow them again.
