Very nice series of shots. Very cool that you got to see them grow to that point. Cheers.

Thank you!

Thank you, Linda! I kicked myself for even attempting inflight shots. So much better to just enjoy the majesty.

A terrific series of photos Linda. You are to be commended not only for the quality of images in this series, but for the dedication, time, and effort you have expended in capturing them.

Thank you for your comments, and for taking the time to view the earlier shots. This nest is pretty much eye level from a road that runs along a river. The nest is on other side of river, so I think it's a couple of hundred feet, maybe more. You can canoe or row boat down the river from a rec site about a mile away, but then you'd be too low to see the nest

The road seems like a great vantage point, not requiring a lot of hiking and gear toting. Very fun!!!

In the final image below Mom is showing remaining twin how it's done. See youngster in the nest screaming, "No, no I don't wanna go!"

The flying eaglet was already in tree adjacent to nest tree when I arrived. There was about an hour's worth of false starts before it took off again, and as you'll see I missed the take-off by a half second! (My in-flight shots are blurry)

Thank you all so very much for following this year's family with me!

Great series Linda, must have been fun to be there

Days of hiking and carrying gear are long behind me - lol. Thanks again!
