Interesting, because I did the exact same thing. I copied a number of printed photographs of my family and my wife's family.

As I recall, I had two problems with my Durst M200 enlarger. One was the 3/8 thread on the enlarger itself, the second was the fact that I needed to get about 2 inches away from the verical column so I could get the photograph (of a photograph) without showing the vertical column of the enlarger. A machinist friend of mine made an adaptor and it worked great.

You have found a great buy and it is providing you with a wonderful opportunity

Many years ago, late 1960s and in the 1979s I did the same thing. I had my own darkroom and had a Durst 35mm enlarger. Since the screw for the enlarger head was 3/8 inch, and the tripod screw on my camera was 1/4-20, I had a machinist friend make an adaptor. I used that set up extensively and it worked great.

Getting a copy stand for $10.00 is great.

Doesn't leave much room for changing the lighting though. It's all about the light, isn't it? Now you need to set up light (flash) mounts to get rid of the flat look.
