The Canon service center used to be in Irvine, California and moved to nearby Costa Mesa a couple of years ago. In the new facility, which is a great service facility (I took in my body today to get the sensor cleaned about 10:30 and it was ready at 3, same day and they made the camera look like new.) they also displays with historical Canons, like the rangefinders ,F-1, A-1, etc. and then they have every current body and almost every lens that they produce, in multiple configurations on different bodies. The 5DS with 11-24L lens looks sweet. They also have their cinema lenses, printers, and point and shoots. Lots of fun to look around. Located very near Orange County airport which is the best airport for those going to nearby Disneyland, much easier to navigate and closer than LAX.

I remember my local candy store selling that stuff for a penny or two. Now a "candy store" sells chocolate for $10 or more per pound. I have a custom candy store practically across the street from me. I went in when it first opened, and I was shocked by the prices displayed.

Can you purchase the candy, right there in the store?
Or are they just thee to drool on?

Which reminds me - I had a broken tooth repaired with a root canal and a crown yesterday and the bill was $2,300 for less than an hour's work! I remarked "Do you know that is 23 hundred dollar bills?" He stuttered and agreed. I do not have dental insurance because the insurance would cost just as much in the long run. People take adventage when the alternative is inevitable. Now I'm sorry that this doesn't have a thing to do with photography but couldn't help complaining about the high cost of living now days.

I've heard that the dentists make more per year than the doctors. Don't know if it's true but beginning to believe it.

If you want to buy, there is a Samy's Camera store nearby. Another, even better Candy Store, is the main Samy's Store on Fairfax in Los Angeles, 4 stories of every goody imaginable. There you can spend your retirement or inheritance. They do a big rental business at that location, mostly for video/movies.
