I was in Vietnam in 2008 and met my future daughter-in-laws great aunt and uncle, also in their nineties. They were much like the couple pictured. Thank you for posting your photo of the couple you met. Like the couple you photographed they were deeply devoted to each other. They had never had children but I was simply amazed at the care showered on them by their family. A far cry from a lot the way most elderly are treated in this country.

Yes, the whole family was taking care of them. It is nice to see that. They were so cute and they tend their little organic garden together. It was such a privilege to work with them.
