Great!

Sounds like you will get some good humming bird shots that way.

The D750 WiFi is more useful as a remote than for sending people pictures. As others have said, the process takes several steps and is a bit awkward. I find that if I want to send someone a picture it's usually easier just to use the phone camera.

This is true and unfortunately instant sharing via social media is where the legacy DSLR companies are losing big time to the phones.

Olympus, Sony, Fuji, Samsung seem to have figured this out.

Can you provide the name of the App? I want to use it on my iPad Air2. I couldn't find it in the store.

The issue is that WMU app is an iPhone app and on the iPad, that app store search defaults to 'iPad only' apps. You should click on "iPad Only" in the upper left and change to "iPhone Only" after the search and you can see it. iPad will run almost all iPhone apps but if they are not universal or iPad specific, you get the 'large' iPhone display.

Putting "sharing" capability onboard a DSLR (making it part cell phone) would add weight, cost and battery draining to the camera, plus you'd have to pay a monthly fee for the privilege of sharing directly. I wouldn't be interested. Most DSLR owners have smart phones and can do as I do.
