wow.. I can't believe how people disrespect the President of the United States, it's hard for a citizen of another county to respect the citizens of the United States when they blatantly refer to their leader as Adolph Obama, a direct play on words refering to Adolph Hitler.
How can you seriously put your leader in the same catergory as a man you killed millions of people because they didnt' agree with his belief system? REALLY??? How disrespectful not only to the President of the United States (which I thought you were taught to show respect too??), but it's also very disrespectful to every citizen of the US and every survivor of the Holocaust.
Sometimes I am just simply amazed how some people will just throw around names, without thinking what they truly mean. I'm also just as amazed to see how people show such lack of respect to an office I was told should be held in the highest regards. I know I wouldn't want that job and I respect any person that would think of holding that position, I don't have to agree with their politics but I will respect them for their desire to run and hold that position.
Here's a little world secret... if you want other world leaders and it's citizens to show respect to your President, as a country you must first show him some respect. When as a nation you belittle that indivual, you risk dimensioning the respect of your leader by the rest of the world.

Sorry to say it but we have many "Christian" racists who watch and believe what Fox News feeds them even though Fox has been shown to the most inaccurate news in the country. Living in Texas I'm sure you run into this as much as I do.

And there are many atheist racist who swallow whatever brand of news supports their agendas as well.

That's true, but it doesn't excuse either side. Those who want to make the U.S. a Christian theocracy are no different that the Taliban.
Religous finatics are religous finatics. As are athiest finatics. Thay are all dangerous and they are all unAmerican.

All fanatics can be dangerous, religious or otherwise. I am curious though, who are these people who want to make the US a Christian theocracy? 8-)

I'm not a Fox News fan at all but can you substantiate this statement about Fox's accuracy? Is it a source besides a Fox competitor? Who has "shown this to be true and how?
GMCASE,
If you are sincere in your question, just google (or whatever search you prefer) FOX News accuracy rating. And pleas don't fall into the trap of comparing FOX news to CNBC. CNBC does ont pretend to be news. BTW, you may not be aware that the whoew Rupert Murdoch (News Corp) is under investigation the UK (hopefully soon in the the US) for varous cases of cooruption.
The sad thing is that even the best of the news is "Coprorate" owned and influenced. And, in all defference to the Supreme Court, Corporations are NOT people, nor do they care about people. They care about profits.

MWAC, stick to the camera. Respect is earned. oBummer was virtually unknown when the country showed him more respect than anyone could ever expect, by elected him president. He bungled it and lost the respect of many and many will vote him out of office when the time comes. Now, you as a non-citizen, with all respect, show some respect, shut up, and stick to photography.
Respectfully....a voting citizen of the USA.

He bungled it??????
He took the largest surples in modern history and turned it into the the largest deficit in history - oh wait that was Bush.
He ignored the warnings by the outgoing administration about Ben Ladin and did nothing to stop him - oh wait that was Bush.
He faild to get Ben Ladin and instead invaded Iraq, ruslting in the deaths of 10s if not hundreds of thousands- oh wait that was Bush.
He lost the respect and support of the world, and put our brave soldiers in more danger, by torturing prisoners (against US and international law) - oh wait that was bush.
He disregarded the US Constitution by wiretaping American citizens without a warrent - oh wait that was Bush.
During his 8 years the DOW lost 40 to 50% of its value and America lost hundreds of thousands of jobs - oh wait that was Bush.
So why to you hate President Obama?

If you read Jefferson's writings, he was a Christian who carefully and specificall supported a "Wall of Seperation" between church and state.

I am only sincere in asking why the poster lied to make a point. I coud care less about Fox,s reputation or any other news organization. Someone made something up to make a point and I simply called them on it. It's not up to me to rove or disprove their assertion. That's their job and they have been totally mum since they were challenged.

Yes, they did not want to permit a state church or religion that could persecute those of a different religion. That does not diminish my post above. Oh, and yes I have read the Constituion, have you read my link? 8-)

If not uniquely Christian then they might also be Buddhist, Muslim or Hindu principles. Or even secular principles from the Age of Enlightenment.
So... What are these principles and what makes them Christian?

I think that's quite a stretch to label him a Christian, more of a deist I would think. I've read a lot of his writings where you could interpret his actual 'label' as more of a deist than a straight Christian.
