I was at a local park shooting flowers yesterday. As I was putting my camera in my car I heard, "Excuse me sir, I see you have a camera. Do you shoot weddings?"

I believe my response would have been "Oh HELL no...."

I was asked to shoot a nudist wedding once. I declined. I was afraid I would stand out too much! :):)

Bad. Never photographed a nude wedding, but I've attended a few.

This guy, I believe , was on another thread, topic about monitoring your blood pressure. The doctor asked him how he kept his blood pressures so low. His reply to the doctor was. Bacon.

Tsk,Tsk,Tsk! What difference does it make if the best man has a camera with a big lens or a little lens? You women keep telling us men that size doesn't matter! :-D

If the wedding is inside then I talk with photog about not using on camera flash. One told that if she didn't use flash she could the pictures. I wanted to tell her to learn to use her camera.

Another gripe I have is photogs (usually a friend of the family) using flash at a funeral/memorial service. I am considering employing the no flash rule at indoor funeral/memorial services.

When I shoot events (not weddings nor sports) I do not use flash. I am not anti-flash. I like using flash to shoot flowers in sunlight for example.
If the wedding is inside then I talk with photog ... (show quote)

Everybody flashes at nude weddings...

1. Don't think that was a thumb.

2. "Huge" is a relative term.

Not sure if photographers with big or small lenses are the same...

But a friend of mine used to comment about 'monster' trucks with lift kits and over-sized tires: She said, "The taller the truck, the shorter it's owner's d*#%!"

Well, I didn't want to become a trip hazard to anyone else. Besides, I would have needed a very heavy backpack as a counterweight!

Did you get the post about five minutes ago whereby some woman had said that you needed a backpack anyway just to counterbalance your beer belly and if you should ever need any additional weight for the reason you had implied, an extra 1/4 ounce placed into your backpack would suffice !
