Sunshine and blue skies yesterday when I took these photos of our common Sparrow birds trying to elevate their status a little.
They were about 25-30 feet away situated on our Blue Spruce pine tree in our front yard. I used 560mm.

Every one is a beauty. Very nice....Rich

Really good shots Regis.
The RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) has stated that Sparrows are in decline over here. Now we know where they have gone to.

We have too many Sparrows here. I would send you some if I could.
Anyhow, thank you for your nice comment, Jolly Roger.

Excellent detail plus use of the blue spruce for color and DOF. No. 2 has a 3D effect and No. 3 is flawless with perfect use of light.[/quote]

I thank you very much, Longhorn, for your great comment.

What a beautiful image you have captured in #2. The wee bird has a regal and contemplative pose. Thanks Regis. Sandy
