More small birds.

Sunshine and blue skies yesterday when I took these photos of our common Sparrow birds trying to elevate their status a little.
They were about 25-30 feet away situated on our Blue Spruce pine tree in our front yard. I used 560mm.

Regis, Nice shots of my favorite subject, song birds.

I hope you realize that once you are finished photographing an English (house) Sparrow, it is suggested that you send them back where they came from, to our friends in England. :)

...my yard is taken over by sparrows and small birds, especially with the snow and the fresh suet I made!

Regis, just beautiful photos of a great little bird that keeps us busy at the feeders and at the shutter. Winter would not be the same without them. Thanks so much.

Very good. The second one might be a female House Finch. The other two shots are of the House Sparrow, an introduction from Europe.

Stunning downloads Regis. Really, are there any "common" birds. They are all beautiful in their own way and especially the way you photograph them. Great job.
