Reputation Check on KEH out of Smyrna GA

Help please, a friend Canon is suddenly broken. She is considered sending it off to KEH in Smyrna GA, anyone know these folks. What kind of reputation goes here?

Great company. Reasonable prices. Generous warranty on used items that are, in my experience, better than the rating they are given. I have not used them for repairs, but the company seems very solid.

Sounds like your friend is looking for a repair?
Don't know anything about their repairs, but I'm sure their repair reputation is as good as their retail reputation. I've bought maybe a 1/2 dozen used items from KEH and was always quite satisfied and will do business with them anytime I need to. Good luck. ;-)

Why not send the camera to Canon themselves?
I've done it a few times and had good service.
If you don't like that option, the answer for KEH is; I don't know if their repair area is good but the rest of the business is honest and fair to a fault.

I had a 70-200 f2.8 that was given to me after it was dropped in a river about 8 years ago. It was half full of water when I sent it to KEH. They were reasonable and reworked it. I have shot juco football since with no problem. They were fantastic at the time and see no reason to believe they have changed. Had several other lens repaired since with same result.
