An AK47 is defined as an "Assault Rifle". It's not my pre-conceived idea.
I make no apologies for having virtually no knowledge on "Guns".
If you take the time to read the original post and follow it through you will see I was simply asking about the viability of a foreign Company building a new factory to produce guns in the USA where I suspect the labour costs will be much higher than if produced in Eastern Europe.

The point is that an assault rifle is fully automatic and made for military forces. The version that is built here is a semiautomatic made for civilian use. A big difference. ( Except to liberals who are deliberately stupid as to the difference between them).
