Challenge FREE SUNDAY January 3. 2016
Hi Folks.....that time again and happy to be hosting.
Want to thank all of you for your commitment and also Clicker the Calendar Girl.
Starting off a bit differently today, a new goal for me to try and improve my B&W and because of the street photo shoot we did in Portland plus thefine examples of Bushido andEdgorm, among others. Also I want to make a sort of story with these photos so as they might be more easier understood
Now I wondered about this one and ''why'' but the only reasonable answer I could come up with was that the person who lived there never went outside, so by staying inside all the time there would be no use for a door, right? So I call this one the doorless window
So so begin my goals
The story here...well ther is none, on a question, ''Why in the heck would someone build a house here? The slivvered stones fall constantly in this area.
Another one, but the story here is that most of these people were born, lived and died here on the Rue St-Laurent and they are devoted Rue St-Laurenters and will not move for anything, Falling rocks and dust is just part of the environnement here,, live with it they say

One of the things I am trying to learn is how to create a mood and also how to turn my photos to a good black and white. I really like On1 with its presets, etc. I am taking care of 3 cats for some friends as they have gone to Florida for 6 weeks. The cats are affectionately know as "The Boys". I took 1 picture of each of them and made a collage for their "mom & dad". After some extra effects, I decided to turn it to b/w. Let me know what you think. I am likely going to print it out, frame it and give it to "mom & dad" when they come back.

Really nice - saw doors like that in Russia. Thanks for hosting, RR. Free Sunday is a special feature that many people look forward too. I'll be back.

The black and white seems to perfectly suit them
Thanks Pat. I think they will like it. They have some b/w and abstracts in their entryway.
