Thanks for your nice reply. I am still waiting for the print to come from the lab, can't wait to give it to the family!

She's their Mother - she is going to love it. It looks great. Is there anyway you can frame them side by side, that may make for a really interesting display, just a thought. Good work.

I read folks talking about crop here or there, raise shoulder height etc. I view it a little different probably because I'm not anything close to a professional or even a good amateur. I see that you have captured a memory. That is perfect and priceless. Well done!

Catfish, the original is 20X24 and the one I made will be printed the same size. I don't know if they make a frame that can hold both, but I am sure they will be displayed side by side.
Thanks for your comment.

Wrangler, thanks for your reply. I know the family sees it that way too.

Sorry I didn't realize they were so big, your idea was great though, both photos look great. I'm sure your wife will be thrilled. Merry Christmas

Not my wife, but thanks. I did this for someone else's family.

The mom received this gift Christmas morning. This morning, I got an email from the father with her reaction...
"She loved the gift - it almost brought on tears..." "the colors are perfect. We are at least 100% satisfied and happy with the work." "Thank you again for everything."
Reading that email made my day!
Thanks to everyone for your input and suggestions. The crop was a really great idea, and I think that helped a lot.
I hope you all had a great Christmas.

Dave
