Like everyone else, I agree it's difficult to improve on perfection. I also agree with one critique suggesting there could have been something in the foreground in the water in photo #2, to help ground it. Otherwise these photos are a superb example of composition perfection. Great job. Try photo #3 in black & white by removing the color. It's really quite stunning.

I've been taking a lot of photos over the past couple of years and I think I'm improving. looking for honest feedback so I can get better. I'm using a Canon 50D and I have a 28-135mm, 70-300mm and a 17-40mmL, all with polorizing filters. I use Fotoflexer, Picnik and Photoshop. Let the critiquing begin.

I think simple is the best. They all are very good. I have a friend who lives up in Lodi, NY. I hope I can get back up there before all the leaves fall.

Great work pal!

Number 1 has a lot of 'punch', and as a boater, I'll have to pick that as my fav. Keep 'em coming.

I turned photo no. 2 upside down. Looks good that way too. I won't post it, it's not my image. You can do that. I liked all three of your images. Got any more?

All 3 are very nice, great colors, and well composed. #2 doesn't need grounding, it's like an optical illusion. Look at it one way and see the spearhead, another way it's like one of the floating land masses from Avatar. Totally cool, wish I'd taken it!

I too love the simplicity of number one. I really like the use of negative space in number two, the reflections are awesome

No. 1 and no. 2 are outstanding in clarity and composition.
