I was wondering when you said I found this old car in the woods. The looked very well kept. But then you went on to explain it. Old cars are really an art form and studibacker was a classic

Folks, I found this old car out in the woods and was delighted. You can't get a better backdrop. Now, for the rest of the story...There was a group of guys in an antique auto club attending a nearby arts and crafts festival. Rather than park their cars where they could get damaged by passer's by. They parked them in this vacant lot next to where the festival was taking place.

You lucky son of gun, people have to stage something like that and you got it for free. Great shot, love the red color against the background. As a young kid I worked sometimes in a carwash, for me the Studebaker was the most beautiful car I thought.

A beautiful restoration of a car well ahead of its time.

Great shot! That body style was so ahead of its time it looks right at home even today.

Great photo! It appears to be a '59 Silver Hawk but there wasn't a lot of visual difference from '57 through '60, just mainly some cosmetics.
The '59 did have the turn signal lights in the grill instead of the earlier years on top of the front fenders.

Love those Studerbakers!

That's a beauty. Nice image. BTW my wife learned to drive in an older Stude than that! That puts us back aways!
