Folks, I found this old car out in the woods and was delighted. You can't get a better backdrop. Now, for the rest of the story...There was a group of guys in an antique auto club attending a nearby arts and crafts festival. Rather than park their cars where they could get damaged by passer's by. They parked them in this vacant lot next to where the festival was taking place.
Very nice photo of a beautiful car. You are right. Not often do you get the opportunity to photo a car with that type of background. Great photo, definitely a keeper. Have a a GREAT DAY!

Thanks...when I walked past, my photo instinct kicked in, I had to shoot the scene. These kind of situations are very rare.

Thanks Sylivas...I'm not a huge car expert, but I love the ones you can tell have been taken car of. This one looks like something that James Bond (the spy) would hide all sorts of secret gadgets on it.

Yea Jim...my timing was perfect. I parked my RV (caravan) in the same lot, otherwise I might have missed this all together.

Wonderful thought James! :D
Beautiful shot of a real classic, James. Well done. I drove an old gray Studebaker while I was in college. Your image brought back a lot of memories.
Beautifully photographed, James! When you mentioned they wanted the cars out of harm's way, I immediately thought of tree sap and bird droppings - lol.

Although I may be wrong, I'll take a stab at identity: looks like a '58 Stude Golden Hawk. Difficult to distinguish '55, '56, '57, and '58, without a better view of the side panels.
Maybe someone else can identify positively.
Wonderful pic in a great setting.
