Thank you all very much for your good tips. I'm not so sure about the 9mm... ;-)

Also the slum areas and drug dealers down by Resorts make for good black-and-white photos. Bring a long lens and a 9 mm.

9mm is pretty wide and yet seems standard for street shooting.

I think they were. My reply was a play on the words. A 9mm lens would be too wide for most street photography. A 9mm pistol may be better for street "shooting"

Walk the side streets and photo the grunge and poverty that NJ politicians have left after the great casinos have lifted Ac out of its squalor. You could do a photo essay on government corruption. Enjoy.

Right, and it's in Margate just outside of the main Atlantic City area.

You are about 35 mins from historic Victorian Cape May and about 20 mins from Basto Village. http://www.batstovillage.org

We were in Cape May cabin camping a few weeks ago and ended up spending two solid days at the Cape May Zoo. It's recently been voted one of the top 10 zoos in the world AND it's FREE! Highly recommend.

Seriously? Is that true?

I was there 2 weeks ago...it was actually very bad. One of the worst zoos I've ever seen.

To each his own I suppose. That's what the sign said as did many we met. Or maybe it was top 11 in the world and in the top 5 in the US. We enjoyed it and took way too many pictures.
