I plan on being in the Atlantic City area for a few days and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good locations for photo ops please. I prefer nature shots but pretty happy to give anything a go.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

If your going to be in AC tomorrow 9/2/15 their going to have a big airshow right in front of the beach. From 11:00 to 3:00 pm.The Blue Angels are the featured attraction, they'll be having lots of aerobatic flying as well.

Thanks but I'm afraid I will not be there in time for the airshow. Would have loved to have capture some images of the Blue Angels...

Although not nature related, the lobbies of different casino's can offer some spectacular photo ops.

The Margate Elephant (I believe that's what it's called) is worth a visit. You'll need a wide-angle lens or maybe an ultrawide.

Check with management before venturing too far here. Most casinos prohibit cameras of any type.

Your right but I meant in the lobbies of the hotels where people aren't actually gambling.

You are about 35 mins from historic Victorian Cape May and about 20 mins from Basto Village. http://www.batstovillage.org

Brigantine Nat'l Wildlife Refuge is nearby, always a great place for shorebirds and migrants.

There are some great sunrise shots to be had at the west side of the bridge from Harrahs to Brigantine Isliand. Also on the tip of Brigantine Island there is a walk that has some good breakers etc. The Beach of AC is pretty good as well of shots of the amusement park and the piers in AC on the beach. The fronts and backs of many of the casinos are good too especially Ceasars. Also the Taj Mahal.

Brig is the main nature photo op. Not sure what is there now however. But it rocks during migration! If you have the time, you could drive down to Cape May.

Also the slum areas and drug dealers down by Resorts make for good black-and-white photos. Bring a long lens and a 9 mm. 👍🏻
