This bird, a juvenile I believe, is actually kind of gray/brown with lots of green on it's back. It blends in very well with the foliage of the local plants. As it matures, it will add some red feathers to the mix - lots if it's a male. Experts here might be able to distinguish the gender at this point, but I'm not sure. I think this might be a female. I do know it's an Anna's HB.
