Probably ADMIN likes the churning of members. I'm sure that a new member is much more likely to click an ad than any of us who has been here for a few months.
+1. Those of us with Chrome and Adblock, he doesn't need. :)
Jim, In risk of sounding like an idiot...(again), is that Adblock in Chrome what it sounds like? I use IE9 and I'm sick of all the adds. Does it block "all" adds or what's the deal? Thanks Don.
Yeah, we never see the ads, just a blank space for me, some ad blockers have options where you can have some stock images show in place of the ad.
...dump IE, Chrome is a good solid browser.

Adblock is a Chrome Add-on that pretty much blocks all click-through type ads on webpages. User supported freeware. Makes a huge difference.
Please post. My canon camera broke and I am still trying to find an affordable camera that does what I want it to.

i have been here since the first of august and have seen alot of good people leave due to the drama and bs. Bob left for that reaon, fivedawgs was harrased out, usmc1963 has not been heard of in a long time, gessman and mr notnobuddah don;'t post nearly as much as they used to, vee cat both 1st one and the 2nd one are MIA, yooper same way. I have too much invested and am too stuborn to quit. on the positive side we lost some real boneheads like rhino so it all balances out in the end.

I wish you the best on that one.
I've been here since the beginning as well and although I haven't started any threads, except one in the Chat section, I have learned a lot and I know the ones that have been here for a long time, like MWAC, Silvertone, MT, Country's Mama, Dria, photogrl57, Tilde and Ian, and a lot of others. Knowing that they have stayed and plowed through all the nonsense just like I have makes me value their opinion and their photography way more than some of those that just joined yesterday.
As for the Adblock, I use Mozilla and the add-on called AdBlockPlus and I have yet to see any one of the ads you guys speak of. They don't exist on my confuser.

I saw an ad for Portrait Professional and I posted something asking about it...From the affirmative responses, I wound up buying it and am glad I did.
Now I can make my sisters look like Barbie dolls if I want to...one thing, though: It's important to log in that you are choosing a specific age range and not simply set it at, 18-22 yrs, which is not really a good thing unless the person really is between 18-22 (or whatever) or unless you do want all your friends to look like they had extensive plastic surgery!
