Looks like a Wolf Spider. They do get pretty big. I've had them for years in crawlspace under my house.
Among other things, the legs are too thick for it to be a recluse. They have very thin thready legs and usually have them pulled up near their body when they are at rest. When you live in Arkansas, you learn to identify them. They are so pervasive here that many refer to them as the "Arkansas pet". And the mosquito as the state bird.
Someone suggested a wandering spider. If by that they mean the Brizilian wandering spider, the coloration is wrong, according to information found on the web (no pun intended). The Brizilian wandering spider is a real "baddie". Rated as the world's most deadly spider, it can be very aggressive.
I don't like spiders, but am very interested in them. They serve a very valuable place in the natural world. It has been said that life on earth would be extremely difficult without spiders. They are the true controllers of the insect population, and without them insects would over run the earth.

There were several links posted to identification websites. There was even an image re-posted for comparison purposes.
Wandering Spiders are found in the geographic location where the subject was photographed. The size, morphology, and coloration all match that of a typical Wandering Spider.
