Thanks for your comment Jeff. This was a one and only shot of an interesting church sign .... I don't live close enough to visit during "working hours", although that would have been fun to capture the service as it was being performed.

Thanks Jack. I agree, a pretty church. I have to wonder if the sign at the side of the road has boosted attendance at their regular services?

Sometimes it takes the brain a few minutes to register what one's eyes are seeing. I had stopped to shoot the bell-tower and gingerbread at the top of the Inland Baptist Church, thinking it would make a nice close-up study. I backed up to get a wider view of the structure just so I would have plenty of real-estate to choose from in cropping what I wanted. It's then that I read the small print at the bottom right of the image (I urge you to read it too).

Stop-n-go has taken on a whole new meaning.

Well I once read an article on a congregation that met in a drive-in theater.

Thanks for your comment Jerry. It wouldn't have been my cup of tea ....... it would be too much like mixing metaphors (I used to use drive-ins for making out in the backseat with my girlfriend when I was much younger).

Thanks Doc. Hopefully after they've stopped at Inland Baptist they will not have to travel the road to Perdition.

Thanks Jim. I have every idea that someone will think of something we've never imagined before, even in our wildest dreams.
