Sometimes it takes the brain a few minutes to register what one's eyes are seeing. I had stopped to shoot the bell-tower and gingerbread at the top of the Inland Baptist Church, thinking it would make a nice close-up study. I backed up to get a wider view of the structure just so I would have plenty of real-estate to choose from in cropping what I wanted. It's then that I read the small print at the bottom right of the image (I urge you to read it too).

Stop-n-go has taken on a whole new meaning.

Thanks superpijak. The church has nice clean lines in its architecture and apparently, an enthusiastic group of evangelists in its congregation.

That is an attractive building and I like their willingness to pray with people on such short notice. :)

Thank you Karin. It's a rather unusual practice in that part of the country ....... or then again, maybe not.

I wonder if they have an ATM in the Drive-Thru so one can make a donation?

Not that I noticed Jfn. I drove through in front of the church and didn't see any kind of a collection basket. But then again, I wasn't there during business hours.

Thanks Michael. Church bell towers have become a new item of interest for me lately. I think I may see if I can capture some interesting ones. Of course, getting high enough to get an unobstructed view is a trick in itself.

Thanks Camshy. I agree with, you would think people could share a little more decorum.

Hey, if you're proselyting, you go where the people are. Decorum went out the window in the late '50s, I think. I also think you should go do the drive-thru and report back to us. We want to know how drive thru prayer works.

And the picture is great!

Thank you Amy. Unfortunately, this church is in a town that is 819 miles away from where I live, to I don't think I'll be praying there anytime soon.

Thanks Earnie. The architecture attracted me in the first place, and then I found their church sign to just far enough out of the mainstream to be notable.
