Haven't been able to participate like I'd like these last few challenges. Finally got out for an hour tonight -- just me and the camera.
What beautiful images you came up with.

Gorgeous, but those storms and Tornado's we have been getting have been really scary.
My son and I decided to go to Rocky Mountain National Park, Trail Ridge Road is finally open and the park was teaming with wildlife.
Male White-tailed Ptarmigan~this was a first for me, and they were just sitting next to the road blending in very well. We they sense danger they keep really still hoping no one will see them. Which of course gave me a great chance to get his photo.

Of course the park has Elk everywhere. This doe had crossed the road first but the male did not want to cross yet so she had to go and get him.

Another first for me. A bull Moose right near the entrance to the park.
A darling little Chipmunk

Yet another first for me was this pair of Yellow-Bellied Marmot. They were just perched on the rocks watching cars go by. They are so adorable and look like teddy bears with tails

This little dude scared the heck out of me. I was taken some landscape shots when he popped his head out of his den to see what I was doing near his home. There is still alot of snow up on top of the mountain with an elevation of about 11,500 feet.

Back down near the entrance we saw this Tom strutting his stuff for the ladies.

Looks like you had a very productive day
Now this was the highlight of my day. It was about 6am when we were driving past Timber Creek Campground when we noticed a young Elk pawing at the ground and had to stop to see what he was doing. I have never seen this before but just like kids I guess he wanted to play as well.

So we noticed this young Elk was playing with a fold up camp chair. Now keep in mind this is a wild Elk
Sorry the photo's are not very clear as I had to take them out of the vehicle window as I did not want to scare him.

Wow! What a beautiful sunset! Love the sky in both pictures. Miss the mountains more than I thought I would.

How very fun! Nice pictures.
I was at a wedding last night . Sure seemed funny not to have a camera there. But I was serving so figured I wouldn't hve time to take any pictures.

Wat wonderful wildlife photos you captured! I envy you your photo opportunities!
I was fortunate yesterday to see one of the young foxes! It seemed happy to see me and the Mother fox was not around. Its den is beside the railroad tracks and I was on the opposite side , two sets of tracks over using my 300 mm lens. This is a pretty sweet looking young fox.
