My son and I decided to go to Rocky Mountain National Park, Trail Ridge Road is finally open and the park was teaming with wildlife.

Now this was the highlight of my day. It was about 6am when we were driving past Timber Creek Campground when we noticed a young Elk pawing at the ground and had to stop to see what he was doing. I have never seen this before but just like kids I guess he wanted to play as well.

The last one is missing - did he he/she have a seat?

Good morning. Thanks for hosting again, Jim. Here are some from the last week.

Love the first and last. Now I can say I've seen Flatbush Ave. Can't remember when I last saw a pay phone - let alone one that worked.

I was fortunate yesterday to see one of the young foxes! It seemed happy to see me and the Mother fox was not around. Its den is beside the railroad tracks and I was on the opposite side , two sets of tracks over using my 300 mm lens. This is a pretty sweet looking young fox.

Fun series. Bet they are fun to watch.

I have to ask, does he get the chair to stand up? Great capture.

It is always a fun excitement to see foxes, but we were despairing of seeing any this spring until just recently and now I think we have found the mother lode! Thank you for your comment.
