Yes, you are able to use it on 2 © computers e.g. Desktop and laptop. To use on a third computer you would have to" de authorise" one of the 2. You can ,anyway, use it on iPhone and iPad. They can be all interconnected, so that whatever is done on one (I.e. Computer, laptop,iPhone or iPad) is synced to the others.
Hope this helps.

Check and make sure. I checked with Adobe and was told, in writing, one license only one session. If you click on the link below you can see my question and Adobe's answer.

David, I think the letter of the law in regard to the subscription agreement with Adobe specifies one active session at a time, however, I think Adobe deals with enforcement of this issue with some latitude like the State Patrol deals with speeding. Within a narrow window +/- 1 session Adobe looks the other way for licensed Photography Suite subscribers. Until they send me a warning ticket, I'll likely stretch the limit a bit.

I have found that if I am logged in to 2 of my computers and I go to one of my other locations and try to use a 3rd. computer that a message comes up and merely asks me if I want to log out of my others so I can use the current one. Naturally I select yes and my others automatically log out and then I can log in on the computer I wish to use. My point is that Adobe knows how many and which computers I am using and their system is set up to monitor and control their use. I am sure there are people who attempt to circumvent the system for other than legal means and I am certain Adobe has a way to identify and correct it. I don't think they have a problem with people like myself who use the program as a "single user" with multiple computers.

I took a look at that message and it seems to me that you guys are talking about slightly different things. The message asks if someone else can use the second copy. Mr. Pine states that he is the only user, although the program can be running on two machines.

I'm not sure how you can use the program on two different machines simultaneously unless you're a lot more ambidextrous than I am. You might use one machine for a while, then while it's performing a task that takes a while you can switch to the other machine? Sounds like you need real multitasking skills.

I think David is correct about the legal limit on simultaneous sessions. I often work on two projects in two simultaneous sessions, bouncing back and forth between a desktop and laptop. I don't think it is uncommon. The letter of the contract really does not allow this but Adobe doesn't appear to enforce the letter of the subscription contract. That's all I'm saying.

I've been considering doing this also. I have LR6 on my LT and will be installing it on my DT at home so i can use my 22" monitor to edit. So, all i need to do is go to Adobe website and install it? What will recognize my licence from CC?

Thanks for any xtra insite

I'm thinking of subscribing to the $10.00 per month photoshop program. My question is, can I install it on more than one computer?

Adobe hides the fact that you can buy the standalone as an upgrade for $79. The only problem is that the upgrade will no longer feature any more upgrades. Not a problem for me at all. After this version, how many more features do I want. Besides, I can always join the cloud in the future, if I want to. I bought the LR6 upgrade.

I just asked the question about a single individual using two copies of the same software on two different machines - one user, two sessions - and the reply was "That would be OK."

David, I appreciate your patience. You were 100% correct. Please accept my apologies.

I'm off to install PS and LR on my other computers now. :)

Yes, 2 computers is AOK with Adobe. I have CC installed on a desktop and a laptop, and usually run both at the same time, with no problems.

I haven't tried two at a time. I have enough trouble keeping things going straight on one computer.

Actually you can install on as many devices as you want. The hook is that you can only have to authorized to run at a given time.

PS cost more than that when it was a standalone so for $10/ you get LR CC and PS CC Plus updates as soon as they are released

Ok didn't know that.......I don't use PS so I'm better off with stand alone LR purchase.
Everyone's talking about these updates! Are they that frequent and valuable? I have been using LR5 for one yr and don't recall getting tons of updates. Do I not also have access to those updates with stand alone version?

No version of PS is available for purchase. The standalone version of LR 2015 is not yet out. Only the CC version is available at present.

I just bought stand alone LR 6 online at Adobe site.....they make it very difficult to find. I had to start with Google not Adobe site. $149
