Lover,

When I hear people proclaim their disdain Liberals for trying to further divide the citizenry via class warfare and racism by pointing it out and trying to change it, it makes me believe the old 'sweep it under the rug' approach which works for them is being exposed as a farce and it upsets them.

Please start a post when you find that candidate that can 'walk the talk'.

None are perfect but anything is better than what we've had unfortunately.

I personally don't believe the Democrats are intentionally trying to divide the country just like the Republicans are not anti-education. The two parties have vastly different ideologies and its those differing ideologies that are dividing the country, as they should I suppose. It boils down to deciding how Americans want to live and what Americans want America to be like and I believe that's what these elections are really all about.

The problem is the Americans who want to be left alone are constantly under attack from those who want to be controlled for not wanting to be controlled.

As in, "I don't want a gun so I don't want you to either"!

Yes and I do agree, my point is that its not a part of the Democratic platform to divide the country, its the ideology itself. I'm amazed at how many Americans believe that a big government in total control is the answer. I believe that division we're seeing is more social than political.

A symptom perhaps but still an affect.

As long as he inherits those who understand the Constitution it's good with me. You guys are conspicuous by the absence of any reference to the document when discussing issues. I find that both fascinating and frightening. For the liberal, politics trumps all and the ends, no matter how evil, justify the means. Just like the communist icons of the past who now reside in the ash heap of history!

Lover,

I do not bother discussing the Constitution with you because I know our understanding of it probably differs in many ways. There is nothing to be gained by that topic.

If you care to post a specific section of it, I'm am sure it would spark a lively debate. Don't get upset, try to keep calm if you encounter disagreement. Don't get emotionally attached to a topic, it is only talk. I only say this because today, I think I pissed you off and said, "I'm done"?
