I would go to monument valley, paige, the north rim of the Grand Canyon and spend skip most of Arizona spending extra time in Utah. More national parks, more slot canyons, and pretty direct route to valley of fire. Also that would get you to Zion before you would have to take the shuttle bus which would greatly improve your photo flexibility.
Then if you believe that you have covered utah enough you could go back through Arizona going the other way. If not you could hit utah again on the way home.
Also you are early enough in the year that you should try to hit Death Valley and if possible since you are going to Yosemite I would try to get to Bodie and Mono Lake.

Going on vacation there next month.
Where would you suggest to take pictures of landscapes?
I know it is a great region.
Everybody has made good suggestions.
If you're interested in air museums, there's the Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa (Phoenix), where the B-17 Sentimental Journey is hangar'd; & half way between Williams & the Grand Canyon in Valle is an air museum run by the Chino, California, air museum people. I can't remember it's name, but you can't miss the big Lockheed Constellation out in front. Every time I go there, I have the place to myself. There's the Pima Air Museum in Tucson where you can see a real life B-36.
Don't try looking for gold in the Superstitions near Mesa. People go in there & never come out.

LOL I came out. Svereal tries, did not find the gold though.
Do NOT take a hot air ballon ride in Sedona. They overload the basket and have a hard time staying airborne. One almost landed on us on the highway when we were there last year. The horse ride is very nice. The horses are actual horses they use on their ranch. None of the follow the leader type that is so common.
Bodie is only about 20 miles north on 395 from Lee Vining.
If you go to Sedona travel up Schnebly Hill Road.
Many photo ops there.

, Tucumcari Mission (Not Landscape but very interesting),
I think you meant the Tumacacori Mission which is south of Tucson.
Tucumcari is a town in eastern New Mexico (no mission at least there wasn't one there this past August) :-)
