Light room problem

Well not a real big problem. I used to be able to email my pictures from light room on my regular email account. Now I can't do that. For some reason light room has stopped. I can still do it on a secondary account that I have, but not my main account.

I checked everything, and it looks good, but I must have messed up something. Can any one help me on this? It is not going to stop the world, because I have a work around, but I was thinking that maybe I can learn something from you guys.

I had the same problem, but after playing with it for too many hours I gave up and decided that it's easier to just export the image and drag and drop into the emails that I'm sending.

I just did what you want to do... if I understand you correctly.

After developing your pic... under the File menu, click on Email Photo. In a moment it is ready to send. It can also be done from the Library module.

Hope this helps.

In LR 5, right click on the photo and email is toward the bottom of that menu.

The other responders told you where the email command is - I do not email directly from LR (I always use Export) because LR doesn't access or link to my Contact book for email addresses - I can't remember them and typing them in takes extra work.

All responses are correct! email on the file menu... right click the photo > email... and, if you do either of those... yes... it does not access your contact (email addresses) info.

This link will show you how to setup LR to email your photos using you own email client.
Under the "Tips" tag there is a link to a video.

I don't know what happened. My address is validated, so it should be good, but it just doesn't send. I checked the password, but nothing works. Guess that it just won't work. Thanks for the help.

Export to your desktop then attach to your email. As stated above, just sending as email you have to remember the email address. Good luck with that.

I guess that is the only way that I can. It used to worm, but the photoshop gods are not looking favorably on me. Maybe I have to make an offering of something.
