Wonderful shot (again)! I just received my copy yesterday. I hope I can do as well as you with mine.

I'm sure you will. Thank you, ptcanon.

Hi Regis . I was just wondering that whereas the clarity of your photos is so great, how much pp do you do, if any, and are these shot in HDR, or is this just normal for that combination of lens and camera body? Thanks in advance and as usual I am in awe of your photos!!

I don't shoot with HDR. This is a normal shot using some contrast and sharpness. I give credit to the Canon 6D/Tamron 150-600mm configuration.

I also have a 60d, maybe I'll try that combination. Very nice shot!

Yes that certainly seems to be a great combo! Maybe I'll look for a used 6d and try it with my Tamron. Keep up the good work! Love your photos as my favorite subjects are birds in flight especially ducks and geese. Waterfowl in general.

Regis, your BIF photos are so razor sharp it begs the question, "how long have you been doing this?" and I wonder if I have enough years left to even get in the same town with you, let alone the same neighborhood of skill.

I picked the Canon 6D because of it's small size and light weight plus it's high ISO's and great resolution. However, if you are doing a lot of BIF shots, the Canon 5D III, will do a better tracking and fast focus job. However, you will pay about $1400 more for this camera. I just don't don't shoot a lot of BIF. Thank you for your good comment and looking at my photo, Donkas1946.

Thank you, cucharared. I am 71 and have been photographing for over 50 years. I also went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for 2 years to study photography, fine art, etc. So, I had a little advantage there, but anybody can be a great photographer if they have the desire to work at it and practice a lot.
