I have been putting off buying a 14-24mm so maybe now, anyone wants to buy a 17-35mm.

You're a little short on details, Bob.

I saved enough shekels for the 70-200mm. So do I buy the 24-70mm on credit, too?

I played it safe and bought one on ebay; vendor was a well-known camera dealer in Canada. So far, no regrets other than that I did not manage to keep the money saved from the purchase. I went out and bought some photo-accessories from the same dealer (local outlet)! :( :-)

Sounds right. Nikon has had a sale the last two Marches, which is what I've been saving for.

I'm going for the 16-35mm f/4 this time.

Nice. That should give you a wider angle.
Have fun.

Yes, I've been waiting for a special deal on that one. Hope it's on the rebate list!
