I ordered the 16-35 from B&H

I've ordered everything from B&H in the past but they've had it on backorder for a long time. Adaroma sales guy said they had it in stock. I was concerned that I might not get the sale price if B&H had it on backorder past the sale date.

No problem with the sale price from B&H. Once the order is placed the price is locked in.

We're visiting our son in CA in June. Will probably go to Lake Tahoe. Possibly 17 mile drive at Monterey . That's why I wanted the 16-35mm lens.

Lake Tahoe is beautiful.
If time allows you might consider Mono lake as well. A different kind of beauty but much photographed. I haven't been there yet and need to check it out.
And of course Yosemite is kinda on your way from Monterey to Tahoe. By June you might be able to go through the mountains. But by June I suspect the crowds are growing.

Well, the day after ordering the 16-35mm I got my wife's permission to order the 70-200 F4 ! Sales have a way of bringing on G.A.S. But now I am most of the way there on lenses. Maybe next year the 300mm prime and maybe the next a D750 body :D :D
Now to get as good at using them as many of you guys are!
