Today I figured it would be a good day to make a list of my camera gear. I have a lot of this stuff and do not always remember what I have. And for insurance it is also good to have a list with some basic info and serial numbers.
So I started with my lenses. And I am already at lens number 45 in my collection and about half way through. Will be interesting to see on which side of 100 lenses I will stop counting.
Is this typical for you folks here on UHH, to have that much of camera gear?
Not in my world. Two cameras, two lenses and a non-working flash. If you have a sudden urge to purge your Nikon lens stash let me know. :-)
I have 3 cameras. Two digital and one film. 9 lenses.

Not for me either. I have two Nikons and a Canon G10. Lenses for the Nikons total 5. I collect other things such as guns and knives but not cameras. They are for photographs.

Oh yes, typically most of us folks have at least 90 lenses. Storage is such a problem, particularly when you have a dozen or so cameras, eight tripods, etc. Well, you know what I mean...
Two bodies, a 6D and 7DII, plus 6 lenses, one of which is for sale.

Have a wonderful Super Multi Coated Tak 35/3.5 that I used on my crop body, thought that I would never let it go because out of all my Taks including the 35/2 this was by far my best lens.... Won't work with my new 6D... probably going to sell it, also have a couple of very interesting Tele Tak presets and a few old Vivitars, my old Series 1, 70-210 has better IQ than my Canon 70-300 IS across the same focal range.
To answer the OP's question I generally have a couple of bodies and about plus or minus 20 lenses, 6 or 7 contemporary lenses and 15 or so old manual lenses. As far as the old manual lenses go I am always buying and selling those lenses, am getting ready to convert an old Minolta Rokkor PF 58mm f/1.4 to a Canon mount. It is a lot of work but that is a really fine lens and worth the effort, I find it to be of higher IQ than the infamous Takumar 50/1.4. It is one of two Minolta lenses that can be milled so that it will register infinity focus on a Canon body, the other is the 58mm f/1.2, same lens a full stop faster.
