911-perpetrators were trained to fly in our country, took over our airplanes, and crashed them into our buildings.
We spent 10 years with thousands of lives lost invading Afghanistan and then Iraq, and the stupidity continues, without an end in sight just because we trained camel jockey pilots to fly and to crash into our buildings.
They did not invade us, unless you call just letting them into our country an invasion. We need to be smarter and to act smarter and quit thinking our military might alone is going to solve this situation.

Maybe ISIS is not yet ready to attack the United States, but do you think that if we just sit back and do nothing that they will never grow into a force to threaten us? Don't forget that they don't need an army or navy to do us harm. They are not like a normal colonial power that wants to conquer others and then administrate the territory for the benefit of their homeland. They are bent on total destruction and annihilation of their enemies, and are not bound by any moral restraints. In fact they seem to delight in their debauchery. All they need is a few dedicated men to cross the most porous border on earth with a little bomb-making know-how. They don't even have to carry any supplies or weapons. This may not happen tomorrow, but leave them alone and give them enough time and see what happens. 19 plane hijackers killed 3,000 people within an hour, and by sheer luck the terrorists didn't think to crash the planes lower on the buildings. The death toll could have been ten times more.

They may be worse, I'm not sure how you measure that. They both seem pretty bad. I was just saying they aren't the same. Al-Qaida didn't hold ground they were more of an outreach gorilla type terrorist group while I.S. is trying to build a "nation". The y are different organizations and they behave differently and provide different threats although they are both evolving.
