ISIS 'BARBARITY': Video purports to show Jordanian pilot burned alive.

Westerners are vulnerable to this kind of provocation. We must use our heads and defeat ISIS with no boots on the ground.

James - won't be possible. A coalition from Arab countries will be necessary to combat ISIS; Turkey may be the only ones capable (the Kurds) of taking on ISIS - the rest of the Arab world is ill-equipped, refusing to participate with ground forces, or fearful of repercussions. The U.S. is unwilling to put any more troops out there.

We have Hitler all over again, with no one willing to lead. ISIS is free to do whatever it wishes. A nuclear war is imminent.

That is the mindset you get when people aren't taught the details of what happened in history that got us to where we are today.

My point is that ISIS wants U.S. and European troops on the ground because they know it would turn out just like our defeats in Iraq and Afghanistan. They want to ruin us economically and in every other way possible.

I think some politicians know that; others scare me of their ignorance. We have no well-defined enemy, and until we do we cannot plan effective military strategies.

I guess I don't know where you are coming from?

We have an effective military force.
It's the leadership that is impotent.

Yes, we have an effective military, but we don't need war. If we were to pull out of the mid-east those camel jockeys would disband and begin fighting each other, as they have for centuries. If we were to go in and "win" they would just re-unite and start stabbing us in the back one-by-one.

Maybe you can tell me why we are there in the first place and why we need to stay?

No, we don't need war.
But if someone comes to kill you then you damn sure have one.
The real question is: How far will you let them go before you do something about it ??

Only way of defeating any enemy is to, first, identify it - which this administration refuses to do. Secondly, the U.S. refuses to involve combat troops for ANYTHING. Thirdly, the rest of the world is just standing by.

Who's going to fight ISIS? Unless SOMEONE leads, there will only be surrender - by US!

Who needs to fight ISIS? I say pull out and watch the whole mid-east fight themselves, as they have always done. They are tribal with quite different beliefs.

Their belief is to kill everyone that isn't them.

"They" are not united in "belief." Just look at the Sunnis, Kurds and Shiites.
