Well I care enough to 'try' and watch it, but I've not got the hang of the game. Despite extensive preparation including a lay in, a hearty meal (from Mrs. N), an afternoon nap and laying of the beer, I couldn't beat the body clock. Its on the PVR but unfortunately I heard the score this morning so I might restrict viewing to the last quarter.
From a non American point of you, I can't say I enjoyed the National song or Anthem (I generally like both) but to much warbling and screeching for my ears this time around.
And Wilhelm. 3 sellout matches at Wembley testify to it's slow but growing popularity here - and in the office from which I've just retired, more people went to one of these than a real 'football' match, though on the Monday the talk is mostly Premier League. I'm even thinking I'll go to one, it's only a train ride away for me.
However its the 6 Nations this week. I want England to win, but this Friday evening I'll be listening for 50,000 Welsh voices belting out their song. Whatever the rivalry between the teams that's always something to listen out for. I've never understood how they can sometimes lose with that behind them.

I wouldn't touch that remark with a 10 foot pole!
What about a 10 foot German?

I noticed a while back that the newer generation has much lower personal values, which shows in their performance in life.
Sadly I have to agree with you.

Commercials weren't Superbowl quality of previous Superbowls either.
There are many of us "Yanks" who cringe when we hear our, admittedly difficult to execute, National Anthem sung by "warblers". Being a traditionalist in most areas, I do not believe that this is the way Francis Scott Key imagined his 'rockets' red glare' to morph.

That crossed my mind as my wife is 100% Polish and often makes remarks about being the brunt of such thoughts from me!

What was performed was not my "cup of tea", but the performance was a bit spectacular.
What a slut ... I had to leave the room. Loved the game though ... A real nail biter.
They (whoever 'they' are) say that, during the Cold War, the Russians could have invaded America while the Super Bowl was on, and nobody would have noticed.
True or False?

It's called "American Football", the clues in the name. No-one else cares. There is no skill involved, you just have to be bigger than everyone else.
Football: a gathering of male adults, dressed in tights, patting each other on the butt, a man dressed like a zebra, throwing a hankie down, yelling " foul, foul!"
Said tongue in chee . I just don't care for the game, but to those that do.........enjoy!

I think you are wrong about no one caring for the 2015-2016 season there will be three games played at Wembley and the talk is getting stronger for a NFL franchised team there soon. All they need is a name for them, how about the London Lobster-backs, that has a historic ring to it.
