Ecigs is 99% safer that cigarettes. They even add amonia to tobacco to up the affects of nicotene. They last study they did where it said it can produce formaldahyde.
They turned up the heat far higher than any person who uses the device would.
Makers of the juice in the US regulate themselves to the highest of standards. Now if you buy your juice form China well all bets are off.
There are four ingredients that are in ecigs; polyglycerine which is used also in asthma inhalers. Vegetable glycerine, which if you have ever been to a concert or haunted house used in a fog machine, nicotene and food flavoring and coloring. Or some use the polyglecerine and veg glycerine together. Then below that there is a whick inside the containes when heated produces the vapor.
After I started to use ecigs exclusively for 6 months I got a chest xray after 6 months my lungs started to clear.
While it isn't good to ingest anything into your lungs at least there is a safer alternative. You can also purchase the juice with zero nicotene.
There are thousands of people that have started their own businesses and doing quite well. Also since they arent a tobacco product. It pisses local govts off because they cannot tax them. I can go on an on. But as you know there is a lot of money to be made in misery and sickness.
I'm no longer good at drinking alcohol..... :mrgr... (show quote)

So far everything indicates it is safer than tobacco but I don't think anywhere the 99% you stated. I'm not telling you not to use it just don't lie to yourself. By the way the fluid for the smoke/fog machines comes with health warnings.

I think most objective literature shows marijuana to be less harmful to your health than alcohol. Anyone who drives or operates machinery under the influence of either is a fool and a danger to themselves and others. Persons with lung problems should not smoke anything.
I've actually known persons who got violent when stoned but it's much less common than getting violent when drunk.

Its a heck of a lot safer, and while we don't yet know the full effects of it. I will side with the ecig. You are talking to someone who really enjoyed smoking.
I was lucky to find a better alternative.
But I am one who as a result uped his exercise level
to 4 to 5 times a week, eat a shite load of salad has pretty much eliminated refined sugar from my diet.

I was motivated by my sugar levels, my only addictions are.
my ecigs sex and herbal tea

[quote=soba1]We debated the issue of marajuana over alcohol.
Tobacco kills the most they just don't want to leave ecigs
alone.

http://www.vox.com/2014/5/19/5727712/the-three-deadliest-drugs-in-america-are-all-totally-legal[/quo OK one is worse than the other. That doesn't mean that the other is not harmful.

All I can go by is my personal experience by the way I feel since giving up smoking.

It was just a joke Thom, really I don't worry too much about either. When I was a kid I used to keep a 1/2 pound around for personal stash.... Stopped smoking over 30 years ago as it was not doing me any good.... As an adult I drink only when I am with the right mix of people, I go months without having a drink, but when I drink I drink straight rum over ice in 14 oz glasses that are refilled repeatedly throughout the night, and no, I don't get sloppy drunk, maybe having graduated HS in Puerto Rico and drinking rum as a child gave me a tolerance for it... I don't know how that works.

Well, I will give you the gauge I was taught to go by.
If the persons life hasn't become unmanageable.
Then no harm no foul. But if one starts going to jail loosing
jobs, alienating family and friends they might have a problem.

It would be foolish for you to smoke anything or even inhale anything other than perhaps some medicinal vapor for your lungs but this isn't true for everybody. If you were going to try marijuana (I'm guessing you aren't) edibles would probably be all that would make sense.

I'm hoping medicinal marijuana will pass in our state but I wouldn't be able to smoke it, only edibles, and then don't know if it'd work. Smoking is one thing I absolutely H-A-T-E. I lost too many relatives to lung cancer and don't even want to be around smokers. Here, smoking is looked down upon and very few except old people do.

The medicinal properties of reefer have been proven. If it becomes legal in your area and you are able to grow it. You can juice the buds that way you can get the healing without the high so I have been told.

As far as ecigs it's a better alternative for the hardcore cigarette smoker
