THEN is when it happened. BIGFOOT stepped out from behind an enormous redwood tree. He smiled and walked up and stood right in front of my camera and held up one finger...
And which finger was that?
Got out and did a bit of shooting today, and found a cute little chipmunk. As I fiddled with the setting to capture him as he found some bug in the dirt, It became increasing obvious that some are affronted by "Street Photography".
He demonstrated in the second picture what he thought of my invasive style.
Found a bug! Shame your shutter is too slow!

To all the people posting pics - Brilliant!
I do photography for fun, and although most of the time it is frustrating, it is good when you have a laugh.
It makes the great pics even more rewarding! :)
Trying to learn how to get action shots at full zoom length. Just a robin in the grass that I was waiting for him to take off. It's an almost!
Great pics! Everyone, keep them coming! :)

Every time I see the picture of the bee, I have a chuckle, it never gets old. It reminds me of I time me and my daughter were shooting macros in Corpus, and she spent about 30 minutes chasing bees, and at the end going through the pics, she didn't have a single pic (all bee parts, or out of focus). The next day it became her "mission".
Great picture nonetheless.
Osprey coming in with a fish. Looked like a good opportunity until this green tree branch jumped right in front of me.
Oh wow! nice pic!
I hate it when a tree jumps out in front of you.
Really great submissions everyone! Keep them coming:)

I have so many shots of animals' butts, I just have to post something here... this guy was cruisin' because I surprised him in the bushes about 10 feet away (and he scared the crap out of me, too!)
dang, that coyote was right here just a second ago.
