I am thinking of exactly that or at least making sure my Graphics card is up to it . By the way is a Graphics card the same as a Video card?

Hu, the video and graphics card are one. Earlier in computer technology the video card was simple before they put in graphics.

Has anyone who uses it had any trouble with version 9.1 of OnOnes Photo Suite 9 ? I have had freezes crashes and trouble with it loading up. I contacted the help and the help was good I have to admit but you needed to be a graduate in computers to get all the info they needed to diagnose the problem? I would have had to get a techie guy in at $100 and hour to get that info for them as I found it so complicated. They have now offered me a full refund which is OK I suppose but not as good as a program that works for me. I have Photoshop CC and Lightroom and Photomatix Pro running on my machine with no problems and previous versions of OnOnes have run with no worries so its got to be the new program hasn't it?
Has anyone who uses it had any trouble with versio... (show quote)

No problems here with Windows 7 & 12 G of RAM.

Yep. I had PPS 8 and it just quit working one day. I contacted the help desk and got plenty of help, but it was incredibly technical and I had to send them copies of everything. Version 8 never started working again and I tried a trial of version 9, but it worked a day and crashed and never worked again. Technical service was not helpful at all this time. I switched to Topaz and their service has been fabulous. I can't say enough good things about the Topaz service. OnOne was not awful, but they never got me back up again.

Hey everyone OnOne has just released an update 9.1.2 which fixes a few of their bugs. I am on a mac and the update in Perfect Suite did not recognize the update, I had to go to the OnOne web site and download it.

Its amazing that they didn't say to me that they were having problems and asked me quite early on if I wanted a refund. I have put the refund on hold for now until I get my Graphics card checked out.

I had a thought today and got my laptop out , a little HP unit and it handles the Perfect suite 9.1 with no problems so It has got to be a problem with my supposedly powerful desktop unit.I am glad I havent gone for the refund yet as I am sure its the graphics card now.
